Bonnier Fastigheter – Hornstull Honey Amber

For the launch of the new commercial district Hornstull we created a beer – an amber-colored ale flavoured with honey from beehives in the nearby park Tantolunden.

The first batch of the beer quickly sold out at the bars of Hornstull. It received great reviews from beverage critics and was featured in magazines such as Dagens Nyheter, Icon and New York Times.

The beer was also accepted into the regular assortment of Systembolaget, Sweden’s government owned chain of liquor stores, and sold out in a day.

Translation:

This is a beer for those who has dipped their furry legs in the Liljeholm Bay, got lost among Micke's disc hills and walked along Hornsgatan until the light of dawn. It is a bottled homage to Hornstull. It has a special character, unique blend and unpolished qualities. A bit like the area itself.

HORNSTULL HONEY AMBER is an amber-colored ale brewed by the microbrewery PangPang at the request of Hornstull Brewing Society. Honey from beehives in the nearby park Tantolunden, along with yeast from the U.S. West Coast, an unabashed bitterness and torrhumling with both British and American hops, gives the beer a marked bitterness and powerful flowery.
